BTEC Performing Arts student organises charity gig

A teenager from Lytham St Anne’s High School arranged a successful event, showcasing local bands, to raise funds for Cancer Research.

Despite his success as a promoter, the youngster's own future ambitions are based on treading the boards himself rather than being behind the scenes as an organiser. He said: "I'm studying drama and then a BTEC in Performing Arts at Blackpool and The Fylde College because I hope to be an actor."
