Business Success Game

What is it?

Business Success is a brilliant new business game for GCSE Business and Level 2 qualifications.  The software simulates the marketing, production and strategy decisions over a product’s 3-year life. Users can choose between five exciting products: a 3G mobile  phone, an MP3 player, a diamond ring, a laptop or a set of alloy wheels based on market research data provided on-screen.  The game player makes ‘intelligent’ responses to the user decisions about pricing, product positioning, sales and marketing and the user tries to balance these with levels of production.

It is designed to be engaging, challenging and fun, whilst at the same time demonstrating how various business issues are affected by each other.

Who is it for?

Level 2 business students and would suit anyone following a GCSE, Applied GCSE, BTEC First or equivalent (it could also be used as a terrific whole-school activity for Enterprise Week).
