Registration arrangements for licensed institutions

We collect full student registration details for students enrolling on to programmes approved under your licence agreement on an annual basis: the registration deadline is December 15th.
 
We have 2 methods that you can use to make licence agreement registrations:
 
Edexcel Online (EOL)
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
 
Edexcel Online (EOL)
 
The person(s) responsible for making registrations at the centre will need to have an Edexcel Online account set up with access to make licence registrations. To do this, please call our Online Support Team on 0844-576-0024.

Special half fee rate
 
At present we are unable to offer the facility to register type S (special half fee) registrations. If you have students who have previously achieved a HNC and require registration on a HND at the half fee rate, please register as a full award and email the candidate(s) details to btecracs@edexcel.org.uk . The BTEC RACS team will arrange a 50% credit for you.
 
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
 
Registrations may also be made though EDI. The services available through EDI are:

• Provision of electronic course approval information from Edexcel to centre (basedata)
• Registration of students from centre to Edexcel
• Provision of registration numbers electronically from Edexcel to centre.

 
If you would like to register your licensed students electronically through EDI please call 0844-576-0026 and ask to be put in contact with the BTEC EDI team.
 
Future Developments
 
From December 2007, you will be able to view your licensed registrations either by course, through the Candidate, Search by Course option or by student through the Candidates, Search by Candidate option.
 
There will be the addition of a Students option to the Licence Agreement option to allow search by course or candidate and the amendment of student details including transfer between course.
 
By summer 2008 there will be a new option allowing the reporting of certification details (currently reported on form SRF(L))for each student by course.
 
For September 2008 there will be an option for you to inform us electronically of any new course validation/revalidation that you have approved.
