In the past, centres entering candidates for the 6718/01 GCE Music Technology examination have had the opportunity to test their MIDI CDs before the examination via the test pack.

For the Summer 2008 examination series onwards, this will no longer be the case. The test pack will NOT be despatched in hard copy format to centres.

Instead, centres should go to GCE in Music Technology  to download the test pack and MIDI files, and should test their machines in line with the guidance in the test pack.

Before the examination, centres will then receive the following materials in secure packaging: 6718/01 question paper (including score), MIDI CD, Audio CD and floppy disc.
