March And June 2009 Provisional Timetables

Edexcel has published the GCSE provisional timetables for March and June 2009. These contains the Science and Additional Science units.

Please note that the proposed dates for all Science units are assigned within the framework of the Joint Council of Qualifications common timetable and, as such, Science examinations must be taken on the dates and times stated.
Any teacher or examination officer wishing to express comments are asked to put these in writing to 360Science@edexcel.org.uk. Please identify your comments as relating to the GCSE Science timetables for 2009. Please submit any comments by July 11th 2008.
One of the concerns raised to date is the scheduling of the Science and Additional Science units in June 2009.
Edexcel cannot guarantee to meet all requests, but will modify the provisional timetable if it is clear that many centres would appreciate an adjustment as to which units are examined on particular dates.
