WorkSkills from Edexcel

WorkSkills from Edexcel is a new flexible suite of units that offer learners the opportunity to gain relevant, job-related skills.

The suite of approximately 30 units has been developed in direct response to the Government’s Leitch Review and following consultation with schools, colleges, employers and training providers.

These are mostly 10 hour units and will initially be available at Entry 3, Level 1 and Level 2 of the NQF. The units can be tailored to the learner’s needs, allowing them to in effect ‘design their own BTEC’.  Learners will have the flexibility to choose as many or as few units as is right for them and wrap them in a qualification that is relevant to their needs.
