Registration of Dental Technicians

Learners who are seeking employment in the dental technology sector, as a dental technician, are required to register with the General Dental Council from 1 August 2008.

Registration requirements are the successful completion of the BTEC National Diploma in Dental Technology.

To meet the requirements of the General Dental Council for the BTEC National Diploma in Dental Technology a learner must achieve a pass (or above) grade for all the 18 core units.
