Related Information

The Edexcel GCSE in Applied French is an innovative and learner-focused qualification. With onscreen testing, specialist contexts, student-friendly assessments and a focus on productive language skills, the qualification aims to make language-learning engaging and relevant for today's students.

This qualification is now available for all centres to offer from September 2008 provided that they are able to offer the onscreen tests in their centre.

To ensure that your centre is eligible to offer this qualification, please complete the Onscreen Testing Technical Requirements Form below and return it to us prior to commencing teaching.  On receipt of this form, we will inform you of the process for installing software to run the onscreen tests.

This qualification is accredited for last examination in summer 2010. Shortly, we will be releasing information on the new Edexcel GCSE in French which will offer an applied pathway and  incorporates many of the features of the Applied French, including the onscreen test.
