In this section
ESOL (Skills for Life) Level 2Candidates at Level 2 are tested for each of the modes, speaking and listening, reading and writing with a separate test. They can achieve unit accreditation for each mode. Assessment for each mode is via a paper-based test, which can be taken on demand, when the learner is ready for assessment. There is no portfolio requirement. The reading mode is assessed by the Adult Literacy National Test. Details of the tests can be found under Practice Tests and Mark Schemes. |
