| Question: | I am getting an “Incorrect username or password” warning. What should I do? | |
| Answer: | Check that you are using the correct username by checking with your centre Edexcel Online administrator. Passwords are case sensitive so you should make sure you use capital letters where they appear as such. Please note that three incorrect attempts to login in a row will result in your account becoming locked. It will unlock automatically after an hour, but you can contact the Edexcel Online support team on 0870 240 9819 if you need to unlock it urgently. | |

| Answer: | If you are having trouble remembering your Edexcel password it is worth recalling that it will contain at least one numerical character. If this doesn’t jog your memory, you can request a new password by entering your email address in the ‘forgotten password’ page (available via www.edexcelonline.co.uk). You can also use the ‘Forgotten password’ link that appears on every log-in screen. We will send a new password to your email address straightaway. When you receive it, we suggest you log into your account and change the password to something you will remember more easily. | |
