Qualifications
In this area, you can download pdfs of our qualification documents (specifications, assessment material and teacher guides, etc.) and refer to related information without leaving the page you are viewing.
At the first level, you can either search by qualification family (in the left-hand column) or by subject (in the second column). By selecting a qualification family (e.g. GCSE), you are presented with a list of all available subjects for that qualification. By selecting a letter (e.g. ' M') and then a subject from the resulting list (e.g. Mathematics & Numeracy), you are presented with a list of all qualifications in that particular subject. Whether you choose to search by qualification family or by subject you will also have access to related information, such as questions & answers, other useful websites and notices.
If you have searched by qualification family, select one of the subjects (e.g. Mathematics) in the second column, and you go to the next level, which provides you with a list of qualifications for that subject. You will also notice a drop-down box, from which you can select an alternative subject and click “GO”.
By then selecting a specific qualification under a category (e.g. GCSE (Linear) Mathematics A), you are presented with pdf. documents (specifications, assessment material and teacher guides, etc.) and related information, such as questions and answers, exam times and professional training. These items can vary, depending on the qualification family you are viewing.
The services available in this area are tailored to the needs of individual sectors: FE colleges & schools, higher education, and employers & training providers.
Select a sector (e.g. FE Colleges & Schools) and you are presented with a noticeboard and a grid that tells you which services are available for each qualification.
By then selecting a service (e.g. Regional Support), you are presented with everything relevant to your sector. For the Information Manual, you can additionally select a ticked qualification family (e.g. NVQ).
In Training for teachers, once you have consulted the course catalogue, brochures, maps and customised events, you can now book online!
In Publications, you can download our publications catalogue and refer to ordering and payment details. Our online catalogue will be available again once we have updated it.
In the Study Options area, by selecting a qualification (e.g. GNVQ), students can get hints & tips, and links to study guides and question papers (where available) in the Qualifications area. You can also check exam times and, if you’ve already achieved an award but lost your certificate, download the replacement certificates form you need. Private Candidates can also access their guidance here. How about checking out other students’ achievements while you are here.
In the Media Centre, you can view our news release archive, download brand logos and photographs from our image library, and access our media factsheets and contacts. In What We Do, you can find out about Edexcel’s history and people and use our education links. You can also access our Policies & Research documents, find out what Job Opportunities are available at Edexcel, and use Events & Awards to see what Edexcel is attending or running.
