About Us : Tell Edexcel

Have you got a great idea that will help us to improve our service to you? – Tell Edexcel!

Welcome to the Tell Edexcel customer suggestion scheme. We would like your practical and imaginative suggestions to help us improve our service and to ensure that we meet your needs.

We are looking for any constructive ideas that will enable us to improve our service for the benefit of you and all our customers. Your idea may be based on any of our services or operations, or on a particular experience you have had or would like to have with Edexcel. All we ask is that your suggestion is a positive idea and not criticism or feedback. To assess the strength of your idea you can always check it against our criteria for evaluating ideas (below).

How can I make a suggestion?

It’s simple. Just complete our Tell Edexcel Customer Suggestion online form at the bottom of the page. You need only give us a brief outline of your suggestion. If we need further information at any stage, we will contact you.

When will I hear back from Edexcel?

Once you have submitted your suggestion, you will receive an acknowledgement email from our Tell Edexcel team within 24 hours. Your acknowledgement will let you know on which assessment track your suggestion has been placed. There are three assessment tracks:

  • Short Track – You will receive the result of your suggestion within 10 working days. This track is for small-scale suggestions, such as a change to our website, which can be acted upon by the Tell Edexcel team.
  • Medium Track – You will receive the result of your suggestion within 28 days. This track is for broader suggestions that require an independent appraisal by the relevant division of Edexcel.
  • Long Track – You will receive the result of your suggestion within three months. This track is for ambitious and large-scale ideas, such as a new online service.

How will my suggestion be assessed?

Depending on your assessment track your suggestion may by assessed by the Tell Edexcel team, by a departmental appraisal or by a committee of Edexcel management.

The criteria for evaluating your suggestion(s) will include:

  • the benefits to you and other centres
  • the benefits to learners
  • the benefits to Edexcel
  • the ease of implementation
  • the necessary training or retraining of staff
  • the improvement to our efficiency
  • any saving of resources
  • any potential costs
  • its originality
