Policy and Curriculum

Policy Watch
Edexcel Policy Watch is a service that aims to provide anyone with an interest in education and skills with regular, easy to read and simple summaries of education developments. Summaries are generally produced each week on a single sheet and provide informed comment on latest developments in an accessible and relaxed format. You can now sign up to receive the Policy Watches as they come out. Simply send an email to policywatch@edexcel.org.uk, giving us your name, job title, and organisation. We will send all the Policy Watches direct to your inbox as soon as they are issued. The service is open to anyone and currently has over 2000 subscribers.

Funding Watch
Funding Watch is an updating service that aims to help education and training providers, and other interested parties, keep up to date and understand national funding policy developments. It offers regular updates and occasional funding network events.All information is provided in good faith but should in all cases be checked against originating documents.

You can now sign up to receive Funding Watches and details of funding events as they come out.Send an email to fundingwatch@edexcel.org.uk, us your name, job title, and organisation. We will send all the Funding Watches and details of the funding network events direct to your inbox.

Edexcel Thinks
Edexcel Thinks are simple statements that define where Edexcel stands on a key national policy issue. Each statement provides a short summary of the issue in question, Edexcel's views on it and any related information on Edexcel's current involvement with it. All statements are placed on the Edexcel website for ease of access. You can now sign up to receive Edexcel Thinks as they come out. Simply send an email to edexcelthinks@edexcel.org.uk, giving us your name, job title, and organisation. We will send all the Edexcel Thinks direct to your inbox as soon as they are issued.

Policies for Centres
Important policy statements and guidance for centres on Edexcel qualifications and any accompanying procedures are listed here by title. Each policy front page clearly describes the type of centre and staff roles to whom it would be most useful.

Education Policy Briefing Papers
Old Education Policy Briefing Papers, dating back to 2005 are kept here. These have now been replaced by the Edexcel Policy Watch service.
