Edexcel are proud sponsors of the Horniman Museum and Gardens Inter-College Animal Enclosure Design Competition.

The winning design should aim to provide a more visitor-friendly and accessible facility that will link in to one of more of the themes within the natural history gallery, through the proposed animal collection and associated interpretation. 

The competition is open to all Level 3 learners engaged in land-bsaed education and training. While aimed primarily at those learners undertaking BTEC National Certificate/Diploma Animal Management or NPTC Advanced National Certificate courses, it may be of interest to learners undertaking related design and environmental qualifications.

The competition is jointly co-ordinated by the Horniman Museum and Capel Manor College.

All registrations must be received by Friday 4 January and all completed design submissions must be received by Friday 14 March 2008.
