Edexcel has raised concerns with the appropriate bodies that the planned strike by Royal Mail employees could affect the delivery of A level results into schools. 

Schools, parents and students who are calling Edexcel are being reassured that hard copy GCE AS and A2 results will enter the postal system in good time for delivery to schools. 

However, as well as the postal delivery, over 90 per cent of schools and colleges are able to access results electronically from all general qualification awarding bodies.  This means that schools and colleages will be able to generate students' results slips to give to students for Thursday's Results Day should the post fail to arrive.
