| To promote Edexcel’s suite of popular BTEC qualifications, a group of ex-BTEC performing arts students dressed up in an array of costumes to reflect the wide-ranging sectors of BTEC and to entertain the delegates in the exhibition hall. | |
Glenn Hannah studied a BTEC First Diploma in Performing Arts followed by a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at Walsall College. He said: “The Conference day was a really interesting job. Lots of delegates came up to find out what was going on! BTEC is great because it gives you the foundation for your career. I went on to study Drama at the University of Wolverhampton and am now working in promotions.”
Edexcel will be next exhibiting at BETT, the world's leading educational information & communications technologies (ICT) event. Edexcel will occupy stand E70 from 10 – 13 January 2007, and will be promoting its revolutionary (GCSE equivalent) paperless ICT qualification, DiDA; its joint offering with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, Vocational Advantage; and a brand new proposition to help senior management teams in schools raise student attainment, Results Plus.
Further details about Results Plus will be released in January 2007.
