Thank you to all our centres who entered candidates for this year's Edexcel Achievement in Education Awards. It is only with such high calibre nominations that we are able to host such an auspicious occasion. Each nomination has now been reviewed by a judging panel and assessed against the criteria outlined on the nomination form. Overall, candidates demonstrated very high standards of achievement and the judges faced an exceptionally difficult task in selecting a shortlist. Certificates have been sent to all candidates who did not reach the interview stage in order to congratulate them on their nomination for the competition. Each candidate was part of a very strong field and this is something of which they can be very proud. We are currently conducting interviews for the short-listed candidates. Watch this space for details of the finalists and winners. The Awards dinner will be held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on the 5th July. | |
