Canary Wharf Business Conference - 11th July
Financial Services Authority Building, Canary Wharf, London Wednesday 11th July 2001 - 10am to 4pm
For AS/A Level and Vocational A Level Teachers and Lecturers of Business Studies and Economics
The Conference is designed to help teachers and lecturers make finance a more interesting and absorbing subject for their students. It will provide a chance to:
- update delegates on significant issues relating to the teaching of finance
- listen to prominent speakers from the world of finance
- attend two workshops selected from the following list:
- Careers in the finance industry
- Teaching the AS/A level Business Studies finance components
- Edexcel business and economics qualifications - what do we offer?

- The 2 point 5 Interest Rate Bank of England/Times student competition
- AVCE Business - teaching the tested unit 5 Business Finance
- Finance in practice - a case study of finance in a large organisation.
