At the end of every month we compile all the articles about BTEC which have appeared in the press during that month.
You can now read all the March BTEC stories.
Below is one example from March to give you an idea.
Skills Minister John Denham said parents in Bristol should look carefully at BTEC and other vocational qualifications for their youngsters at all the options to help their teenagers make the right study choices.
On a visit to Bristol last week, he said the Government was committed to ensuring a good range of choice for all young people. The Minister said: "It will take a few years for all the diploma lines to be up and running everywhere. They are scheduled to be in place by 2013, alongside GCSEs, A-levels and a range of vocational and work-based training."
In the meantime, he said, parents should look at BTEC and other vocational qualifications for their youngsters and should be aware of the drive to increase the number and range of apprenticeships on offer.
