Edexcel is the first awarding body to offer an on-screen version of entry level 3 qualifications in numeracy and a reading test for literacy. The launch of the new tests are in line with the Government’s agenda to raise adult skills levels.

Two local residents, Sara Pullen and Hayley Marie, are attending the pre-launch of VQ Day, an event designed to recognise individuals who achieve vocational qualifications, held at the House of Commons today.

The AoC (Association of Colleges) Beacon Awards 2008/2009 will be launched at a reception in Westminster in May
